The team is participating in the SAE Aero Design East 2013, an international collegiate event organized by SAE International in partnership with top aerospace companies like Lockheed Martin, NASA and Gulf Stream.The SAE Aero Design East competition is scheduled to take place from March 15-17^th, 2013 at Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America. It is intended to provide undergraduate and graduate engineering students with a real-life engineering exercise. The competition has been designed to provide exposure to the kinds of situations that engineers face in real work environment.

To successfully achieve their goal, The SkyHawks (2013) is looking for financial support from individuals and businesses to cover costs for material, equipment, travel to competition and software for design and analysis. We are responsible for our own fundraising, so our primary mode of income is by donation. Our efforts would have never been possible without the generous gifts of external sponsors. This recognition includes a company emblem on our final plane that will be flown in the competition. As an international competition, your company will gain exposure world-wide.
