We are the official team of University of
Petroleum And Energy Studies for SAE Aero Design 2013 competition to be held at
Fort Worth, Texas, United States of America.
The team is structured to emulate
the real-world engineering environment where business and technical aspects of
the design must be considered. The students follow a design process much like
what is used in the engineering industry. Team members are encouraged to
innovate and develop ideas and support them with technical analysis and
experimentation.
OBJECTIVE
To design and fabricate a remote-controlled
model aircraft which can carry maximum possible weight under given constraints, perform trade studies and make compromises to arrive at a design
solution that will optimally meet the mission requirements while still
conforming to the configuration limitations.
